Healing Plan

The Baby Steps I took:

1. Find a naturopath that practices Chinese Medicine (not homeopathy) that is successful in healing endometriosis. Personally I go to one that was trained in German and Switzerland type naturopathy.

2. Start the Endo Diet immediately (your pain levels should lessen over the next few months if you eliminate gluten and dairy immediately).

3. Begin treating your pain naturally instead of using pain pills.

4. Under the care of your naturopath begin detoxing your liver slowly. There are safe and unsafe ways to do this. N-Acetyl Cysteine is one of the greatest ways to do this!

5. Use castor oil packs on your liver in order to help detox your liver gently.

6. Start massaging Wheat Germ Oil into your abdomen in order to soften up tough scar tissue caused by the endometriosis.

7. Explore emotional issues that may be contributing to endo. Healing emotionally through Bach's Flower Essence,  counseling, and supplements for anxiety are a great place to start. One study shows that girls who have relationship issues with their mothers can suffer from reproductive issues including endo.

8. Find joy and rest every day. Stress contributes to disease and prevents healing. Finding purpose in your life, something that makes you joyful each day and making sure your body and mind get plenty of rest every single day is a big part of allowing your body to heal. You can only find joy if you deal with stress in a healthy way. (book recommendation: Champagne for the Soul (a 90 day experiment on joy).

9. Heal your gut. There is a ton of research out there and I've followed it for a few decades now. While probiotics and enzymes are needed and contribute to healthy digestion, they do not actually close the holes of the the gut. The book Gut and Psychology Syndrome was one of the leading books on this topic but is now outdated information when it comes to actually closing the holes caused by leaky gut. There are only two products on the market that have actual studies proving their ability to heal leaky gut. One of them also feeds candida which is bad news for endometriosis. The other is called Colostrum-LD by Sovereign Laboratories. This product is safe, natural, and has the research to back it up. 

10. Detox your immune system by bouncing on a mini trampoline to get your lymphatic system moving. Dry sauna (30-45 minute sessions that have you dripping sweat) is excellent as well. Walking/running and other forms of exercise help keep the lymphatic system moving.
